About 2 years ago, a lady came into Donna's office who had been very sick for 10 years. No doctor could tell her what was wrong, and finally they told her she had 2 years to live. Her name is Fay. She was considering going to the Mayo Clinic, but she listened to a friend who was doing the Paw Paw program and decided to have a consultation with Donna, even though she was skeptical: if the 20 doctors she had seen in the last 10 years could not help her, how could Donna Roth, who is not a doctor? This was her last option before the Mayo Clinic.
In the consultation Donna quickly discovered that Fay was being poisoned by Synthroid, which she had been taking for about 25 years. It was destroying her blood, and she had been diagnosed with a long big name that really meant she had a blood disorder. Fay decided to drop the Synthroid and work on the critical need to build her blood. Her very simple program:
- Avoid all grains, sugars and junk foods
- A super foods smoothie two or three times a day to build up the blood, with Rejuvenaid, Nature's Harvest, Ultimate Green Zone, Chinese Mineral Chi Tonic and Solstic Energy
- Lots of water and Chlorophyll
- Pau d'Arco to cleanse the blood
- UC-C to help the digestive system
In 2016 Fay had been diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), a bone marrow failure disorder also known as a form of blood cancer, and the doctors had given her 3 years to live. She was always totally exhausted, even after 9 hours of sleep, and was on the couch all day. She could not play with the grandkids she adored, she was depressed, her chest was tight, her breathing was laboured, her voice was feeble, and she took oxygen three times a week. Hematologists said they had never seen anything like it. A bone marrow transplant was considered, but the doctor said there would be lots of pain and in 6 months she would be gone. The Mayo Clinic treatments would cost $60,000. "No one out there gave me hope."
When she filled out the Body Systems Questionnaire in October 2019, Donna read back her symptoms (muscle weakness, laboured breathing, extreme fatigue, depression, unusual tiredness and weakness) and Fay was shocked: they were the side effects of Synthroid, which was destroying her bone marrow's ability to make red blood cells. "I went off the Synthroid all on my own, hard as it was, because I was really skeptical. I did not tell a soul. ... No one knew what I really did until I got better. Then I told them."
In 2 weeks of doing this program, Fay's energy came back. When she called Donna, Donna did not recognize the voice: for the first time in 10 years, it was Fay with a strong voice. She could move and walk and play, and she was excited.
When Donna asked Fay if she would share her story, the doubts came in: what if the symptoms came back, or the program stopped working? A year later Fay was no longer skeptical and was willing to share her story as a success.
