TAFYH April /21

 TAFYH Graduation

Overview – I have come to understand my health with a greater depth than before.  I find myself in wonder at the credibility given to a medical system that relies on the importance of distinguishing and treating symptoms, rather than honoring and relying on the bodies’ ability to heal itself with appropriate support provided.  I liked the metaphor of the tree’s leaves being the symptoms and the branches being the body systems.  It helped me understand the difference between treating symptoms and treating systems.  And how important the root nutrition/circulation/oxidation is.  The tree eliminates by dropping leaves, which is a pretty cool metaphor that I used to understand the cough I had.  I also am struck with the idea that there is only one disease known to the healing arts. Its overall name might be TOXEMIA and it is called by 415 (more or less) different names, depending on where the inflammation (pain or distress) is located and who is doing the diagnosing (guessing).  The Steve Jobs story was particularly poignant.  Based on how long it took for his cancer to double in size, they were able to backtrack and locate the time of the cancer injury – he was 24 years old!  How many of us have an evolving cancer injury at play right now?  I suspect that could be almost everybody over the age of 40 or 50.  And did I just heal an undiagnosed cancer injury in myself doing this TAFYH program?  What other lingering undiagnosed health issues have I dealt with?  I doubt I’ll ever know, but it is a good feeling to take action for my health.  I loved the self diagnosis with the BSQ, body temperature, candida test, and the inflammation test.  I also loved the cleanses and flushes and am feeling pretty squeaky clean.  That is inside of a body that has dropped ~7 lbs, which doesn’t sound like much over 2 months, but feels like a different, younger, ready to go, body.  Moving with ease is a pleasure!

Time & Structure – I am so impressed with the efficiency of this program.  20 minutes every morning really worked to keep me on track.  And to have that backed up by my TAG team made it so I couldn’t fail.  I am going to miss the Good Mornings! and the commitments, and of course my TAFYH team - all of whom completed!

Changed Symptoms – My waking body temperature has risen from 35.5C to 35.9C.  I didn’t start with candida and still don’t have it.  Forgetfulness is way down, anxiety is down, fatigue is down, frequent backache is down, cough is up, urinating at night is way down, mental sluggishness is down, prostate problems are down, I think.  One thing that I notice is that it is difficult to evaluate my symptoms inside my current state of health.  For example, is my energy really up?  I can quickly remember the feeling of low energy, so has it really improved?  Am I simply being optimistic in saying my energy levels are up?  So, I asked my wife and she confirmed.  And I asked my acupuncturists, and my energy has climbed from a 2 out of 10 to a 5.5 out of 10.  He said that the main thing I needed to work on is my circulation system, which is borne out in the Body Systems Questionnaire.  Here are my before and after numbers:

BSQ                53 to 24

Circulation    11 to 8

Glandular      13 to 6

Nerves             9 to 1

Going forward – I will be staying away from grains, that’s for sure.  I will be easing up somewhat on the limited fruit intake.  I do enjoy my fruits, and find it difficult to eat less than a fruit per day.  I will be focussing on my circulatory system.  Here’s my plan:

A – Activate:  I will be dog walking, ocean swimming, ebiking, after my morning’s stretching and ionic breathing

B – Build:   Chinese Red Element – Mineral Chi Tonic, capsicum, arginine, solstice energy

Yellow Element – Flax hull lignans

                               White Element – Collatrim plus

                                  Blue Element – Blueberries

                                Green Element – Spinach, Kale

C – Cleanse:   LBS11 – as needed, psyllium hulls – as needed

                         Water, Chlorophyll

D – Direct Aid:   Circulation – MC, CoQ10

                              Nervous – B complex

Other Intentions:

-          I will have my teeth diagnosed by a holistic dentist

-          I will do a Tiao He cleanse in the autumn

-          I will order Silver Gel for first aid

Summary:  My BSQ has dropped by at least 50%, which is amazing, and I am left wondering how healthy I can get.  25 years ago I was diagnosed with “lone atrial fib”, which means that my heart beats irregularly all the time, with no associated other weakness in the heart.  Might it be possible to turn that around after 25 years?  Is it too much to hope for?  Is it too hard to maintain such rigor?  I don’t know the answers to those questions, but I am willing to give it a whirl.  And it seems a worthwhile game to play.
