Dr. Teri, an ND and TAFYH grad, shared her husband's story: "He was diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer. His urologist sent him to consult with a radiologist. It was a terrifying experience: a four-storey building filled with patients being 'treated for cancer'. They all looked like the walking dead. Forty-nine radiation treatments were recommended, on top of hormone therapy with female hormones, with the recommendation that he endure these injections and side effects for the rest of his life.
After a lot of thought, my husband decided not to go the chemo/radiation route. He did, however, agree to start the Paw Paw program. After 9 months on Paw Paw we were convinced he was cancer free. We requested another biopsy to confirm our belief and were denied. We went to three different doctors; no one would allow us another biopsy. Due to pressure from family and friends, my husband decided to have his prostate removed. We talked candidly with the surgeon about the Paw Paw program, but he was not interested.
The surgery, I'm sorry to say, did not go well, but my husband did heal. What was incredible: remember, the biopsy report initially came back as aggressive cancer. The prostate was sent to pathology, and the pathology report came back: no cancer! The surgeon could not explain that. We could. Paw Paw had cured my husband of prostate cancer.
